1. Information collected

Website visits and campaign information. Our website and its service providers receive technical information needed to deliver pages, such as your IP address and browser information. The homepage uses EmoryDay Analytics to measure visits and marketing performance. Its script records page addresses, referring page addresses, visit times, URL query parameters, and session identifiers. Query parameters can include campaign tags and advertising click identifiers.

Browser storage and identifiers. EmoryDay uses local storage (including an entry named EDay), session storage, and a cookie fallback. It also uses browser fingerprinting: browser and device characteristics, such as screen settings, language, time zone, and rendering capabilities, are combined to create a visitor identifier. Blocking cookies alone does not necessarily prevent this technique.

Enrollment activity. When you select a signup or availability button, our site can send a signup-started event to EmoryDay. It also forwards campaign tags and click identifiers from the current page address to JoinCommunity.Solar to help attribute referrals. A signup-started event does not mean you have completed enrollment.

Information you provide. If you contact us, we receive your contact details and the information in your message. Eligibility checks and enrollment forms are provided through JoinCommunity.Solar, either in an embedded window or on its website. Information you enter there is handled through that service; please review the JoinCommunity.Solar privacy policy and notices presented with the form.

2. How information is used and shared

We use website and contact information to operate the site, respond to inquiries, help people find community solar enrollment options, understand website use, measure campaign referrals, and troubleshoot or protect the service.

Information is processed by providers involved in those activities, including our website hosting and security providers, EmoryDay and our marketing agency for analytics and campaign measurement, and JoinCommunity.Solar for enrollment referrals. The analytics script sends visit and event information to EmoryDay's analytics service.

If disclosure is required by applicable law or necessary to respond to valid legal process, information may be provided to the relevant authorities. This policy does not replace the notices and terms that apply to a particular solar subscription or its providers.

3. Videos, fonts, and external services

The homepage loads video thumbnails from YouTube and fonts from Google. Those requests expose technical request information, including your IP address, to the respective provider. When you play a video, the site loads a YouTube player using its privacy-enhanced embedding domain. Interacting with the player can still involve information collection by YouTube. Linked websites and embedded services may use their own cookies, storage, and analytics. Their privacy notices explain their practices. This privacy page itself does not load the EmoryDay script, embedded videos, or Google Fonts.

4. Your choices and requests

• Browser controls: You can use browser settings to clear cookies and site storage or restrict third-party content. Clearing storage can reset identifiers, but it does not delete information already received by a provider or prevent future collection.
• Videos and enrollment: You can read the site without opening a video or enrollment form. You can also visit the enrollment provider directly and review its privacy notice before submitting information.
• Privacy requests: Contact us using the address below with questions or requests about access, correction, or deletion of personal information. Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional rights, including objection or opt-out rights. We will assess your request under applicable law and may need information to verify that it relates to you.

The site does not currently provide a dedicated analytics preference control or an automatic response to browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals. Browser-level content blocking may limit analytics requests. Contact us if you need help with a privacy choice or request.

5. Retention and security

Retention depends on the type of information, the purpose for which it was collected, the services involved, and any applicable legal obligations. Browser-stored information can remain until you clear it or it expires; providers' server-side records have separate retention practices. Contact us for questions about a particular record or deletion request.

No website, electronic transmission, or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending passwords, full utility account numbers, payment details, or other sensitive documents in an ordinary privacy inquiry.

6. Children and policy updates

This site is intended for adults exploring community solar options, not for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us so we can investigate and address it.

We may update this policy as the website or its information practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
